My students will use the squids to observe and describe the internal and external structures of the squid as well as relate these structures to the human body with focus on the digestive system. They will then relate the sheep's digestive anatomy and physiology to that of the human digestive system. This project will require our students to build upon and strengthen their knowledge of basic digestive anatomy and physiology. It will improve retention, probe questioning, and promote careers in science. Our community has a high poverty level with limited resources. Donating to this project will impact the education of over one-hundred bright scholars.
