I am requesting laptops, headphones and computer mice for my students to be able to access online, educational, intervention programs. I currently do direct instruction with my students in large group and small group settings. These laptops will allow my students chances for independent practice. Laptops (headphones and computer mice) will serve as a fun and engaging way for my students to generalize learned skill sets independently. These laptops will allow my students additional opportunities to explore online educational programs that will ultimately help students discover and hone in on the skills that they have mastered, as well as skills they may need additional practice with. Access to these online, educational, intervention programs will also permit for ongoing progress monitoring as it concurrently collects data for the teacher to see where the child is currently preforming on various skill sets, which is ideal because data informs instruction!
