I work in small groups and one-on-one with my students during inclusion and resource instruction to develop early literacy and math skills in my kindergartens, more advanced processes for my 5th graders, and many other skills in between. The iPad encourages interactive learning and independence for a student who needs immediate feedback when working towards his or her learning goals. With the addition of an iPad to our classroom, I can work with one student or small group of students while another student works through activities on the iPad independent of me. Using online learning tools and apps increase the learning opportunities available to my students.
