The direction that today's education is heading is unique! Blended learning is a formal education program that involves combining Internet and digital media with traditional classroom methods that require the physical presence of both a teacher and students, with some element of student control over time, place, path, or pace. Classrooms have always moved at a fast yet steady pace to average students. So what about the student that may need that extra day or two or even week to master material taught in the classroom? How about the top performing student? Oh let's just make them sit through another boring lesson, for them, to listen to because they already know what you are teaching. WELL, this is NO LONGER! Teachers can now create interactive electronic playlists to further a students learning, so they don't have to listen to a lesson of material that they already have mastered. The dynamics of the classroom are endlessly changing and it is time to allow children to move at their own pace. These iPads will be always present within the classroom for student use. Students will use interactive games and activities as an educational tool. The teacher may track the students work through Symboloo Lessons, Power my Learning, and Google Forms. These are interactive websites that allow the teacher to create playlists, no not music, but educational activities for their students. In order for students to be able to test out of Common Core lessons from the curriculum they must first show their knowledge to move forward.
