iPads and laptops are not only so motivating and fun for my students, but they provide multiple ways to expose them to literacy, comprehension, and academic tasks through various apps. There are also communication apps that can give my students a voice to say, “I need help” with the press of a button. In addition, a Chromebook laptop would allow me to access picture symbols and communication boards for students who need them throughout the day to answer questions, greet their peers, and tell me what they need. As a speech therapist, it is my job to provide opportunities for my students to show their voice and communicate their wants and needs. Technology truly helps me to do this most effectively! So, please help and support this project so that my students can be the best communicators they can be!
