My students will use these tablets during our center time. They will use them to work on phonics and reading during our daily rotations. They will also be able to use them during Math instruction and Math centers. Students will have access to many different applications and books through the internet. There are many different things that we could do in the classroom if we had a class set of Kindle Fire tablets. Having a Kindle Fire allows you to get apps from the Amazon App store. Some examples of apps my students could use are explained below: 1) Starfall: Starfall teaches basic reading and math as well interactive books. 2) Brain Pop Jr.: Brain pop is an app that shows students engaging videos centered around current events and content. Brain pop also creates quizzes based on the videos that students watch. 3) Pink Fong: Pink Fong Phonics is full of interactive and dynamic learning games just right for your first ABC learners. 4) MyON: MyOn Reader is an on-line digital library from Capstone books. Our students have access to over 1700 books online anytime, anywhere! These books are in full color and the students may choose to have them read to them or read them alone
