When you curl up to read a good book where do you go? Do you sit on the hard floor or in a plastic chair? I know that is not where I want to get cozy and read! I also know that my students would not choose to sit on the hard cement floor or plastic chairs either! They would love more comfortable seating choices in the classroom. We spend a lot of time reading books in kindergarten. In reader's workshop we spend a lot of time in the beginning of the year reading storybooks. We do not have enough copies of these books for all of the students. It would be great if each student could have several of these favorite storybooks to read!
