The students will use the iPads to become active and global citizens. Students need to be engaged in active learning for the learning to become real. By connecting to the world via the iPad, students can make connections to the world around them. As a Civics and English teacher, the more they can read, see and hear about what is happening, the better the connections to their world- thus making better students and citizens. The goal is to open the world to them so they can see the impact their voices and actions make and to allow for collaboration in the classroom to teach them how to best do that.

About my class
