Learning to love learning at a young age is so important! We plan to create engaging storytelling and sharing felt board wall. We can use this wall to share fun stories and let the students get involved in the "reading." The felt wall will help teach the students about characters, settings, beginning, middle, and end of stories. We will also use the board to help the students get creative and make up their own stories and plots, working on sequencing and timelines. In addition, the students will get comfortable "presenting" in front of classmates and have fun while doing it. This fun felt wall would undoubtedly help my students be well on their way to becoming great storytellers and writers as they go through their schooling journey. As a young 5's teacher, I am dedicated to making sure their love of learning starts now.
