This tablet will allow to students to build their coping abilities and allow them to practice their social skills. My co-counselor and I meet with students in grades PreK-5 with who struggle with social skills, anxiety, ODD, ADHD and many other disabilities. We are always looking for new and effective ways to reach these students and met their needs. We feel as though an area that we can improve upon is incorporating technology into our counseling sessions. Whether it be individual counseling, small group or classroom lessons, we feel that a tablet would be beneficial to all students.

About my class
