These books will be used as a Novel Unit to compare life in Middle Ages Europe and Renaissance Europe to life in 19th and 20th century Europe. This project will allow me to combine Social Studies lessons and ELA lessons to fit in the very small class time I have with my students every day. I can do that by teaching the history of Europe while focusing on the more emphasized requirements for writing, reading, and grammar to meet the state education standards. Lastly, this project will help me do all the above by using a fun story instead of the boring worksheet and textbook system.

About my class
