At the moment, students in my classroom rely on the use of their cellphones in order to do research in class. There are computer labs at the school, but are usually inaccessible due to there being classes scheduled in them. I teach my students English Language Arts, which relies on the use of technology for writing, researching, and reading. Those three activities are a part of my lesson plans on a weekly basis. My students would benefit from having computers available to them in the classroom, especially since they participate in activities outside the classroom. Many of my students are involved with studios outside the school, which makes it difficult for them to get any work done outside of school. The purpose these computers would serve would make an incredible difference in the efficiency of my students assignments.
