I strongly believe that as a middle school teacher I am developing the future leaders and speakers of tomorrow. I have to provide students with opportunities to discuss, debate and explain their thinking supported with evidence, statistics and data. These podiums provide students with realistic debatable discussions where they can push their thinking. Argumentative essays are a part of the 6th grade experience and the podiums provide students with the ability to social distance while maintaining real world examples of how to execute their thoughts, ideas all while enhancing their speaking skills.

About my class
