My 5th grade students are lucky enough to work with Utah's OPERA BY CHILDREN program to learn social studies, write an original opera together, compose an original score with the help of a musical professional, and design scenery for their opera. This program, which builds confidence in children, enhances their learning of American History, and provides them with a once-in-a-lifetime experience free of charge to our school; however, the art supplies are not free. In order to complete this project for 70 students, we'll be needing paint, board, and brushes. Help these 5th grade students have the experience of a lifetime by providing us with art supplies for our class opera! Thank you in advance for considering our classroom as one worth helping.
