My students walk into my classroom every day ready to learn and excited about the day. Each day I strive to make sure my students know that when they are in my classroom and in school, they are safe and loved. I teach at a Title I school in Texas where the majority of our students receive free lunch and have so many hardships outside of school. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful in the future.
