My students need access to technology in their classroom. Chromebooks will allow students to engage more deeply in the science and math curriculum, participate in blended learning experiences, and creatively apply what they learn. These computers will be used by all students and for many purposes throughout the day. Access to technology deepens learning, promotes collaboration, and increases student achievement. Students will be able to use digital tools like EdPuzzle, GoFormative, Quizlet, and Kahoot to support their learning. They will use Google Apps to communicate and collaborate with their peers. Using Google Classroom, the Chromebooks will act as a bridge from the classroom to home as as students will be able to access classroom materials at any time and from anywhere! Chromebooks will allow students to learn to be good digital citizens and practice computer skills to prepare them for their future. By using them in math workshop, they will allow me to increase student learning through differentiation and student choice.
