Each year my goal is to improve the achievement of each of my students by allowing them as many opportunities to practice skills as possible. One of my favorite ways to do this is by doing skill centers each Friday. One of the centers I do each week is technology. Each student uses this center time to practice on specific websites and programs designed to pinpoint their academic needs and help the student mastery the skill. Our school also uses the data to drive instruction and monitor student improvement. I would love to have additional tools to use (Fire 7 tablets) to achieve our goals.
