My classroom is filled with a diverse group of second grade students. These students may not have access to books at home or the means to go to the public library. Many come from homes where English is the second language. Our school is their only resource for books. This book cart will help organize our library and foster a passion for reading. I hope to build strong leaders for the future. Organization is important for students to become interested in their library books and create a love of reading. The book cart will be organized at different levels for each student. This will help to differentiate learning for all.
