It's time to expand our robotics program to our littlest learners! I tried out one of these with first and second grade students and was so impressed with how the students built and programmed their robots. The included software incorporates design and programming challenges that will fit perfectly into our STEM program. Even our youngest students can design, build, and program robots with LEGO WeDo! They will work with their friends to think critically about challenges and obstacles and share their thinking with others. From improving a race car design to modeling pollinator/flower relationships, our robots will enhance science education in a way that these students will not forget. Talk about 21st-century learning!
