My goal is to personalize learning for each and every child in my classroom. One way I can do this is through the use of iPads. I would love to create a tech center during reading and math center time. Students will be able to use educational apps that focus on phonics, math facts and other common core math skills, handwriting, science, and more. They will also be able to write and illustrate stories through several different creation apps. There are also apps that use video and a green screen to create story retelling, oral presentations, and more. The iPads will also be a tool to help assist with differentiating instruction. The students will be able to access materials at their learning levels and build upon their prior skills and knowledge in all subject areas. Technology is such a vital part of our everyday lives and should be used in the classroom to help students engage in learning. Please help to make this a reality for my students!
