My students’ must keep up with the lightning-pace of today’s market. Most of the jobs my students’ will one day get will be in technology. That is why it is imperative to teach my students’ basic coding concepts, while focusing on the four C’s of 21st century skills; critical thinking, communication, collaboration and CREATIVITY. The Ozobot Bit’s will help to attain this goal. By donating to our project you will not only help to improve my students’ understanding of basic coding, you will ultimately help increase their confidence in their creative abilities! Students will be able to start coding with a stoke of a marker. Then advance with the code editor on a computer or tablet. Many existing career pathways will disappear due to automation and, as much as 85% of jobs that our children will one day work in don’t even exist yet (Tencer, 2017).
