The Chromebooks will be used to set students up with their google e-mail accounts and Google Classroom. The 6th grade team wants to try to become paperless and do more of our daily work through Google Classroom. This daily exposure will give the students more practice with their keyboarding skills, allow for more immediate feedback from the teacher and help save our school money on paper and ink used to make all of the weekly copies. Not all students can show proficiency on a standard test and my hope is that the Chromebooks will give them more opportunities to showcase what they have learned from the taught lessons in their own unique ways. I want to show them how to make action cartoons, cartoon strips, infographics, and slideshows that they can use to show me what they have learned from the lesson.
