My project involves providing additional seating for students to use in world geography and AP world history classes. A variety of activities and discussions are done throughout the year which would benefit from flexible seating and non-traditional options. The stools will provide students with an opportunity to be at the front of the room during presentations or serve as group leaders throughout the classroom. The stools will also be used when students discuss topics and assume the roles of "experts" during panel discussions. In addition to traditional lessons, the stools will also be helpful for guest visits and question-and-answer sessions.
