My students are growing up in a world that is filled with technology. As their teacher, it is my responsibility to give them opportunities to develop certain skills, such as keyboarding and using a mouse correctly. By allowing them to practice these skills, I am setting them up for success in a techie world. We only get to visit the computer lab every other week for 40 minutes, so there is a great need to have the Chromebooks in my classroom and readily available for my students. Having these Chromebooks in my class will give my students daily access and let them build the confidence they need in order to be computer proficient.
