These magazines subscriptions will help my students meet all required standards for fourth grade reading. These magazines will also help in building my classroom library because I am moving from teaching science to reading, and aid with students who struggle with reading using intermediate versions of all of the magazines. This would be an aid for intervention groups and other students on RTI’s. My students would be able to access lessons and read the materials online at home. And , because it’s available online, if I get more students, we could use iPads for any new students instead of ordering more magazines. The interactive videos will keep them engaged. I absolutely loved Weekly Reader as a student, and I know my students will too!
