All of my students love art. They are so excited on Fridays when they know art is their special for the day. They also get excited when I tell them that we are going to have the opportunity to be creative with art materials during class. Another passion my students have is technology. They love to use all of the latest technology to create projects. One tool that combines both of those passions is 3D pens. Your generous donation will allow my students to incorporate both art and technology into creative projects tied to all subject areas. This project will benefit my students in many ways. They will become more engaged in many different subject areas with the use of 3D pens. In science, the students will learn layers of soil by creating a 3D model showcasing the layers of soil. In social studies, students will be able to create different types of columns to learn about the architecture of ancient Greece. Reading will allow students to create actual characters in the story as they summarize, sequence, and draw conclusions about their story. Your support will allow my students to practice 21st century skills across the curriculum while also making use of their love of art!
