Our 1st Grade Pod currently has 15 iPads to use for classroom instruction and practice. We do not have a safe way to charge the iPads without a cart. We currently have to charge each one in a different outlet and they are often running low on batteries because they need to be locked up when not in use. Having a charging cart would allow us to have immediate access to the iPads and they will be charged each day after school hours. Without Donors Choose, we will not be able to purchase a charging cart for our iPads. Our students will greatly benefit from the ability to use the iPads frequently throughout the day to reinforce new skills and allow them to truly become 21st century learners.
