Our center rotation, "technology" will help individualize instruction to further my students' literacy foundation. With these 7 Kindle Fire Tablets they would be able to use apps such as ABC mouse, Starfall, and the Kindle books section to listen to grade appropriate stories and build their vocabulary. Your donation will make this happen! Technology plays a huge role in society and it is imperative that students learn these vital skills at an early age. Studies show that children learn at a faster rate when they are younger. Our classroom is a great place to start! The majority of my students are from economically disadvantaged homes (65%) and can escape poverty through a strong education background. These tablets can further their background knowledge and give them a head start!
