Students in engineering often use tools. An increasing number of tools are digital fabrication tools in which students input designs onto computers and then a machine cuts, prints, or builds the design. These tools will support students in learning important digital fabrication skills. They will support the 222 students that use the engineering classroom throughout the year. My students need a Cricut, vinyl paper, and supplies to use for bulletin boards, posters, anchor charts, art projects, and STEM challenges. Students in engineering will use these tools to create a variety of products ranging from pop-up cards to 3D geometric shapes.
