Initially, we will read and discuss this book together during speech-language therapy sessions. We will participate in a week or two of lessons revolving around the book. Lessons will vary based on students age-level and their areas of needs that are being targeted. After learning about the book, each student will receive his/her own copy to take home and share with his/her family. All students are encouraged to read and discuss the book with parents and/or caregivers. Older students are also encouraged to read to younger siblings and/or cousins.
