The Alexa Echo Dot will allow my ESL students an opportunity to work at stations to refine their language skills, both written and verbal, through a variety of Alexa routines and commands. The compatible buzzers will allow my students to work as a team with game-show like lessons where they compete against other teams and “buzz in” ​with their correct answers. Games can be created by the teacher to address any skills we are working on in class to increase student engagement level. Alexa is able to identify which team buzzed in first and call on them for their answer. Alexa will then be able to tell the teams if their answer was correct or incorrect and provide the correct answer before moving onto the next question. All of these options are completely customized by the teacher to meet whatever academic needs of the students.
