My students and I are inspired by flexible seating options, sensory toys, and balance pods and are requesting these items in hopes of getting our wiggles out when we are learning. I have many students who have individual needs and these different options would be a way in which their physical needs are met in order to be a successful learner. I constantly differentiate my instruction, so differentiating the environment will help to promote what I am always trying to instill in my students, which is that some people learn differently and need help in order to be successful learners. The use of flexible seating options, sensory toys, and balance pods allows my students to take ownership and maximize their learning environment. These types of options would be a positive outlet for their energy and would allow them to move but to maintain their focus on their work. It would also promote my focus of having a classroom wh
