Currently, my students must go to the library to print their assignments. If they can not get there before school or during their lunchtime, I must give up precious class time to bring them to the library where they must log in one at a time to a single copier/printer used by the entire faculty, staff, and student body. Having a printer in the classroom will solve this problem and save A TON of instructional time! Our school has provided laptops for every student, but our very limited printer access limits my students' abilities to publish their written work for assessment, peer review, and display. Additionally, most students do not have printers at home. A high capacity, black and white printer with a toner cartridge will help support publications of their work while preserving instructional time.
