Many of my students have attention issues or just can't seem to bear sitting in a hard plastic chair all day. I encourage students to "do what they need to so they can learn their best", and many of them currently choose to sit on the floor or stand rather than use their hard chairs. Wobble cushions and balance balls will give my students a more comfortable option so they can change their focus from how uncomfortable their chairs are to what's most important - learning! My students need a learning environment to fit their needs. Once these kids can get comfortable, they'll be able to hone their attention on our content material and meet their growth goals.
