Safety is important in all aspects but especially when dealing with possible hazardous materials. So far we have conducted experiments that only deal with water and other elements that are not hazardous to the students. Until I have the ability to provide a safer environment and equipment we will continue to do "safer" experiments. As we progress further into the year I would love to be able to incorporate more complex experiments that would be more engaging and beneficial to content. Currently we can watch videos of more complex experiments and the students become very excited to watch the chemical reactions, I would love for them to be able to be responsible for the reactions and to see them in person. The lab coats and Goggles would provide us the safety materials we would need to further this mission. The beakers would be able to safely house the materials.
