My students would really benefit from having these requested Lakeshore Jumbo Best-Buy Book Bags to send home reading materials. Most of my students do not have adequate books for home reading. With these book bags, I can send home quality books on a weekly basis to be read to at home. Research has shown the importance of children being read to at home with their children as invaluable in their learning to read. These experiences help students develop listening skills and increases their vocabulary. These skills will be critical in their learning throughout their lives. Reading to children at home also provides parents and children with a bonding experience. With your help this will be possible to provide my students with books to be sent home year after year.
