Our sixth grade students love reading...and of course they love a solid competition, too! We will combine both of their passions as we begin our second annual Mock Newbery Book Challenge this year! Students will be required to read at least five of these new novels if they want to vote on their favorite in an effort to predict the actual Newbery Winner of 2017. These new novels are highly engaging, represent a variety of genres, and are just what our classrooms need to spark a reading love and critical thinking in sixth grade!
