With the new equipment, we will be able to enhance our practices beyond anything we have done before! As a small school, we struggle to get the latest equipment. Many time girls' sports do not get the attention they deserve. We do fundraisers throughout our season just to make the necessary ends meet: uniforms, buses, food, and volleyballs. We don't get many extras here in Appalachia unless we ask for donations and our small businesses are economically strapped. The city and the school board do the best they can for all of us, but there is just not enough to go around beyond the basics. My girls and I will be so thrilled to be able to enhance our playing abilities with this equipment and it will create more team camaraderie as they work with each other and learn how to use this equipment to the best of their abilities! The block blaster will be used to improve placement of hits. The target challenger will allow my teams to improve their passing and setting skills by providing them a target to "shoot for" with their passes or sets.
