Thank you for taking a moment to look at our project!!! I am a 5th grade Special Education teacher in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The population of students I work with have a very high poverty and need level. Our school is 100% free/reduced lunch program. We are an Extended Learning Time (ELT) school. As part of the ELT teachers each take on an extra class periods in our 8 hour day. During this block we can customize an activity for our students. Teachers have done things such as homework help, board games, nature hikes, and several art type offerings.
