This year I am working on a big change in my classroom. Traditional seating, such as desks and classroom chairs, do not provide the best learning situation for all students. My students are very active, and I would love to provide a flexible seating arrangement for them. Flexible seating allows my students to choose where they sit, and where they will learn best. The students will have options of active seating, like Hokki stools, that allow movement while they sit. I am working on providing standing desks, rocking chairs, carpet space, a couch, and balance disks as well. The Hokki stools will be a great start to my project, and will help so many of my students stay active, and keep their minds on learning!
