I teach at Roosevelt Middle School in the Oklahoma City Public School System. The majority of our students are Hispanic and are English Language Learners. This year we have added Advanced Science as a course offering for eighth grade students. It is important that these students have the resources to expand their thinking as well as their reading comprehension. The use of classroom novels will assist with this need. My students are wonderful students, polite, well-mannered, and hard-working. They deserve the resources that are needed to expand their education.

About my class
