In my experience, my students have a great time in the beginning of their fifth grade school year. They are excited to be at the top of their elementary years and closer to middle school. As the end of the year approaches, they itch to master skills and strategies they need in English Language Arts. Yet, some feel defeated by a skill they just haven't grasped yet. My students will use these resources in order to keep up their stamina and raise their spirits. These alternative approaches will help them retain and master fifth grade standards while having fun!
