My special needs classroom is placed on a general ed campus which makes (at times) working with my students a bit hard. Though my students can be full of love and hugs, they come with lots of behaviors that they need to learn to control, which makes them stand out. Being in a classroom where the materials are outdated, overused and where no new materials are given, I spend a lot of my personal money to make my classroom look and feel like new. My students love the changes and appreciate all I do, but receiving any type of helps! My students are amazing and they try their hardest to fit in and be accepted! They are children who like any other child, love to use the tablet and computer, love to go to recess and especially love superheroes! They are a big inspiration in much life and they make me want to better myself for them.
