Many of my students have ADHD and sensory integration disabilities which causes them to tap on desks, stand and rock, move about the room frequently, essentially having an inability to focus for long periods of time and not quite enjoy the learning experience. The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues, because I will be able to provide the necessary stimulation my students need. Fidgets and Sensory integration toys will provide my students with the tools needed to awaken their senses to enjoy the learning experience and feel proud of their accomplishments. Fidgets will give them something in their hands so their bodies are calm, minds are clear, and learning can begin.
