After various researches on flexible seating, I truly believe that my students will be able to grow academically. Research shows that if they are able to have a more comfortable seat, they are more likely to become better learners. Second grade is a hard year to transition into. My students currently have only hard chairs to sit in and complete their work. My students learn best when they are sitting comfortably to complete a challenging task or a longer assignment. I strongly believe that having these bouncy balls in our classroom will assist with their academic growth. Offering choice is an important role in student success. They will be able to move more freely without becoming a distraction to others and provide movement with in themselves. With your help on this project, my students will be most comfortable while learning.
