Many of my students do not have technology available in their homes. They love using IPads as we have borrowed some from other classes. It is such a stress-free way for them to learn and it is motivating to them to complete other work. All of my students are not reading on their appropriate grade level. It is my goal to motivate and increase their opportunities to bridge their reading and writing skills with additional books and other strategies. My students have only experienced negativity in reading and it is my job to build their confidence and show them how fun reading can be! Their faces light up using IPad applications and it positively reinforces them to keep trying.

About my class
