My goal is to create a sensory friendly space within the current classroom where the students can have a sensory break. The items I have chosen are to reduce the bright overhead classroom lights and provide a more peaceful environment with subtle eye catching lower lighted fixtures. My students really like bubbles, and the lighted Bubble Tubes will be a focal point within the sensory area. In addition, there will be a disco ball to project lights onto the walls and sensory items to handle while watching the bubbles float.
