Funding this project will show the importance of non-fiction books. At this time, our school does not have a library. My classroom library lacks non-fiction books making it difficult to teach, practice, and encourage non-fiction reading. Building our classroom library with non-fiction books will give students choice and open a whole new beautiful world of reading. Our libraries in our classrooms are extremely important. Classroom libraries are the books students will be utilizing day in and day out. Expanding our classroom library ensures students will have the opportunity to choose non-fiction books, ultimately supporting the rigorous Common Core Standards. As well as, giving students the chance to explore the world through reading sparking interests and a love for the World around them. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
