My class of diverse first grade students are constantly in motion. Traditional chairs and seating simply do not work for everyone and the alternative of hokki-type stools to be used in both their English and Spanish classroom will provide this option. Research shows that offering alternative seating choices helps those who are most active move while they work and be more productive. We want to create the most successful environment possible for our students who have a world of promise. Channeling their energy into active learning is a win-win for everyone. The students will feel successful and confident to accomplish anything they put their minds to.
