Hi, I am Ms. Campoy and I teach middle school math and science for student with special needs. I have been teaching students with special needs for 6 years. In those years, I implemented a 1:1 iPad program, and increased the utilization of technology in an SDC setting. With this, I have seen tremendous growth in the students' abilities to show independence, conceptual understanding of topics, organization of their materials, and an increase in motivation and curiosity of their subjects. I am looking forward to continue innovating my classroom with new technologies and researched based practices. My mission is to help my students reach their potential, learn how to navigate the world with a disability, increase their self-esteem, and become active members/citizens in the community.
